STARS Partner Organizations

STARS Partner Organizations are higher education associations and other non-profit organizations that provide value to the development and promotion of STARS. These organizations work to educate their constituents about STARS and engage them in its ongoing refinement and development. More information about the roles and responsibilities of Partner Organizations is included in the STARS Governance Structure (pdf).

Partner Organizations enjoy the following benefits:

  • At opportunity to nominate a member, constituent, or staff person to serve as a Technical Advisor to STARS
  • Recognition on the STARS website and in the STARS Technical Manual
  • Access to materials to help educate their members and constituents about STARS
  • Frequent communications with STARS staff that provide an opportunity to give direct feedback on the program

Any organization interested in becoming a STARS Partner Organization should email stars@aashe.org.

Founding Partners

Prior to the launch of STARS 1.0, AASHE invited several organizations that had been involved in the development of STARS to be STARS Founding Partners. We give special thanks to these organizations for their contributions to the development of STARS as well as their early and ongoing support.
