A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:

Healthy Tigers
Employees who elect to take advantage of the Healthy Tigers Wellness Initiative can earn a $25.00 per month credit on their health insurance premiums (up to $300.00 per year) by participating in a health and wellness screening program that is coordinated by the Auburn University Pharmaceutical Care Center (AUPCC) located in 2155 Walker Building, Harrison School of Pharmacy.

The health screenings include completing an optional short health and wellness questionnaire; having a fingerstick blood test performed to check cholesterol and blood sugar levels; getting a blood pressure measurement; and participating in an optional height, weight, body mass index (BMI) and percent body fat analysis. One screening is required between January 1 and December 19, 2012 in order to qualify for the 2013 insurance premium discount.

Employee Assistance Program
Most human problems can be successfully treated or resolved, if identified early, and appropriate action or care provided. This applies whether the problem is emotional, marital or family, legal, financial, alcohol or drug related, or any other undetected behavioral/medical problem. The purpose of EAP is to assure employees that if such personal problems are the cause of deteriorating job performance, they will receive an offer of assistance to help resolve such problems in an effective and confidential manner through the services of the Employee Assistance Program.
