Our LEED Gold Certified IDEA Center (science building) has numerous signs and information posted that explain the building's green features.

The Idea Center (our science building) has a rainwater catchment system used for watering the surrounding plants as well as a large number of native plants around it to cut down on landscaping maintenance, help retain soil, and provide habitat for numerous species. There are signs along walkways around the Idea Center that hightlight these sustainable landscaping features.

A sustainability walking map and associated tour video for the Idea Center have been produced that include information on the building's natural landscaping, rainwater catchment system, smart fume hoods, emphasis on natural lighting, and preferential parking spaces for low emissions vehicles, among other things.
