Community Learning Day is an opportunity for people to volunteer to teach a workshop on a topic of their choice, and our diversity & inclusion staff offer sessions ranging from All T All Shade: Drag 101 to Brazil: Language, Culture, & Politics.

During the year, Babson offers training such as Safe Zone and Gender Expansive Training.

Human Resources sponsors an employee resource group called "Race Conversations," (ERG) It is a community of employees having an open, respectful exchange of views on race relations. The group recognizes that everyone needs to delve more fully and personally into the issues at Babson, and across the country than can be done at any one event. Members suggest topics, including our ethnic histories, a recent incident of alleged racism, or something from our own experiences. A long-range aspect of the ERG is to support members who want to identify and take action in their roles at Babson and beyond.

Babson also offers large campus-wide events around arts, speakers, and films for heritage months and various identities.

With student and alumni input, the Faculty Senate Committee on Diversity and Inclusion has with the external facilitators created a highly interactive day of learning and sharing specifically for faculty. The external facilitators represent both expertise in the area of Diversity and Inclusion and bring real-life experience as faculty and as experts working with faculty in this area for over twenty years.
