A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:

Bellevue College began a composting pilot project on campus in September of 2011. Compost bins can now be found in cafeterias and selected office spaces and will be expanding soon to the campus cafes. The food waste is picked up by Cedar Grove Composting, the Pacific Northwest’s leading organic recycling company.
