Management in the areas of Auxiliary Services, Human Resource and Facilities Management collaborate on new staff orientation for service personnel which includes discussion of our institution sustainability practices.

Topics addressed include our water recovery plan, our Leed buildings, energy structures, and waste management as well as best practices in eco-friendly landscaping (ex. butterfly garden).

The management named above are full time personnel and we budget accordingly to support the programs that define our commitment to sustainability.

As part of the new faculty and new staff orientation programs, the Office of Human Resources acquaints new hires with Belmont's environmental and professional/campus climate sustainability practices.
