A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:

Students in Psycholoogy 162: Research Methods conducted a survey of students' commuting behaviors. This survey took a representative sample of each of the four graduating classes of students and was conducted online and annonymously.
Beloit College is a residential campus, and only a small percentage of seniors live off campus, with many nearby apartment and house rental options within walking/biking distance to campus.
