This information was gathered through the polling of the faculty in early spring 2014. Faculty were asked about current research and if sustainability played a roll in their work.


A brief description of notable accomplishments during the previous three years by faculty and/or staff engaged in sustainability research:

Black Hills State University has strategically targeted several research foci to build and develop long-term research initiatives that are related to sustainability. These include: Conservation Biology, Alternative Energy and Natural Products Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry.
