A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives, including how workers are engaged in monitoring and advising on health and safety programs:

The SD Office of Risk Management was on campus June 21, 2016 to provide safety training and best practices. Active shooter training has been offered by BH Public Safety. Annually, through our employee health program, employees are incentivized and/or mandated to complete health screenings, health assessments, and engage in wellness activities to qualify for the premium benefit. We hold a benefits fair annually. Employee Assistance Program is available to all employees and their families.
