Bow Valley College has partnered with the YWCA Childcare Centre to offer safe, licensed, and accredited childcare services on campus. There is an on-campus daycare, which can be used by both staff and learners. Full-time students are eligible for the Calgary Energy Partners Child Care Bursary. There are 21 scholarships offered by Bow Valley College for single parents and primary caregivers (see "additional documentation" for full list).


A brief description of the institution’s other policies and programs to support non-traditional students:

Bow Valley College's Iniikokaan Centre is a support centre on campus for Indigenous learners. The Iniikokaan Centre provides funding information, student gatherings, Elder advising, consultations, spirituality resources, information sessions and speakers, and advocacy for First Nations band and Metis educational sponsorship.

Bow Valley College offers nine scholarships for Indigenous and Metis students, and nine scholarships for refugees, newcomers, and recent immigrants to Canada. See "additional documentation" for complete lists.
