Does the institution host a farmers' market for the community?:
Yes

A brief description of the farmers’ market:

Since fall 2010, Brandeis has partnered with Warner Farm to offer an innovative CSA program to the campus and surrounding community. The Brandeis-Warner Farm CSA offers both summer through fall shares and fall-only shares. The fall-only share is specifically designed to accommodate students. Pick up of the shares by both on-campus and off-campus shareholders is Tuesdays in the Spingold Theater on campus.

The University previously held a farmer's market, but the CSA program has taken its place.

In 2008-2010, Brandeis students brought a Farmer’s Market to campus at least once a semester. The market has always featured fresh produce and preserves from “local vendors and farms including Natick Community Organic Farm, Hanson Farm and Flats Mentor Farm.” The market historically was set up in the Gosman Center Parking Lot. The market began as a product of the Greening the Ivory Tower class, and was continued by the NaturaLiving club. The farmers market was put on hiatus due to low interest from farmers. Now students work to run shuttles to Waltham's farmers market.
