There are various posters put up by the dining and service faculty that show the university pledging to use cage-free eggs and other environmental choices. In addition, there is education on portion size and food choice for a more healthy lifestyle.

A student led club called Natural Living maintains a vegetable garden on campus. It is open to all students of university and there are gardening hours to help plant, water, and harvest the vegetation throughout the year.
