NC Military Business Center partners to promote the Annual Sustainability Symposium and Expo. The Symposium provides information on sustainability initiatives in renewable energy, tourism, agriculture, business and training. (March 2011 and 2012)

Lower Cape Fear Sustainable Communities Consortium, a regional planning initiative for Sustainable Development.

The North Carolina Solar Center and The North Carolina Department of Commerce to present the Brunswick County Public Forum "Offshore Wind in North Carolina: The Basics, Government Perspectives and Utility Perspectives." (December 2011)

State of North Carolina shell recycling partnership for individuals and businesses to place them back in estuarine waters to help turn the tide on declining oyster stocks. Brunswick Community College is a public drop off site.
