A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:

-Reusable Name tags
-Reusable backpacks and/or water bottles
- EcoMotion offered a sustainability information session for all first year students
- EcoMotion met with all of the Orientation Leaders for student orientation
No longer printing 2,000 copies of a 36-page Resource Guide for incoming students and their parents/guardians, all information moved to the registration website.
- This year, the Office of Campus Engagement moved all information for Orientation for incoming students and their parents/guardians to a new mobile app. We no longer distribute paper schedules when participants arrive on campus, and no longer distribute paper flyers at our various sessions. All information is on the Orientation app, and the link to download the app is e-mailed to registered participants prior to each of 4 Orientation sessions
