Sustainability coordinator McKenzie Beverage serves as part of the IUPUI Sustainability Committee. This organization helps other institutions with developing sustainability initiatives.

In cooperation with IUPUI, Indiana Recycling Coalition, Ivy Tech of Indianapolis, Marion University, and Ray's trash service, we have launched a commercial composting route in Indianapolis.
