PowerSave Campus

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

PowerSave Campus is funded through the Alliance to Save Energy, a partnership with the utility agencies. PowerSave Campus is an energy efficiency education program that promotes careers in the field, contributes to actual energy savings, increases awareness of the importance of saving energy, and endorses academic infusion of sustainability concepts.


A brief description of any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation (if not reported above):

This student-driven program works on projects that range from but are not limited to: energy audits and assessments; residential and laboratory energy competitions; intern-led and faculty sponsored academic courses; green career fairs; and energy efficient retrofits around campus.
