Does the institution donate leftover or surplus food?:
A brief description of the food donation program:
Sodexo, Inc. is one of the largest donors of surplus perishable and non-perishable food to Feeding America members. In fact, many of our 6,000 account locations donate surplus food by distributing it to their local Second Harvest members.
CSUMB donated nearly 1000lbs of canned and dried goods to the local Monterey County food bank. SODEXO also donates surplus dairy and produce foods to local homeless shelters.
