CSUMB contracts with a professional electronic waste recycler to collect and remove e-waste. Documents are provided to the campus as evidence to the company's adherence to regulations and environmental controls.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

The CSUMB Asset Management department coordinates the retirement and collection of electronic items for the entire university.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

Campus e-waste is collected and sold to Electronic Recyclers and handled by our property coordinator. It accepts ewaste from students on a case by case basis. We have collected ewaste during the Move Out event since 2010.
