During the first week of school, the campus has two weeks of events, activities and information sessions that help to engage students in campus-life. In 2016 "Otter Days" was themed as W'Otter Days and existing activities incorporated elements of water conservation and awareness.

The campaign used surveys from 2015 on shower length and re-did the same survey at the same time in 2016. The data has not yet been analyzed.
