CSUSM has a resolution in support of open access, but not an open access policy. We are pilot-testing having faculty self-submit their scholarly articles to the library. The University Library has a Scholarly Communication Librarian on campus to assist other faculty in areas of open access, including finding data repositories, coaching on negotiating rights retention with publishers, and uploading faculty scholarship to ScholarWorks, the campus institutional repository.
