Which of the following best describes the institution’s approach to rainwater management?:
No written policies, plans or guidelines, but green infrastructure and LID practices are used

A brief description of the institution’s green infrastructure and LID practices:

All projects are required to have water runoff be treated on campus prior to it being released into the main distributions in the city. We don’t have a set of ‘standard practices’ per say, the architects/engineers just need to comply with our Stormwater Management Plan.

A brief description of the institution’s rainwater management policy, plan, guidelines and/or practices that supports the responses above:

The campus has a storm water management plan, it is available online CSUSM SWMP. The plan identifies potential pollutant sources, defines minimum best management practices based on site conditions and establishes regular documentation and tracking requirements.

Plan is available at this link: http://www.csusm.edu/srs/documents/01%20CSUSM%20-%20Final%20sWMP%2009_20_2015.pdf
