While some divisions of the university have had consistent practices for assessing employee satisfaction and engagement, the 2014 Great Colleges Survey was the first step toward a comprehensive and consistent approach for the university to review employee engagement and satisfaction.
A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation (including examples from the previous three years):
● After the survey was complete and the analysis of the results was received from ModernThink, the Executive Council convened a task force to look at the results and develop 3-5 action items for improvement based on the findings. Results were reviewed by the task force at the organizational level, and each Executive Council member was responsible for providing 3-5 action items for their respective division. The task force conducted an information session to share the results and obtain feedback on their recommendations for improving the work environment.
