Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

Carnegie Mellon University does not deliberately distinguish between courses that focus or concentrate on the concept of sustainability throughout the course and courses that relate to an aspect of sustainability or include sustainability as part of the course in its definition of sustainability in the curriculum. However, the University does offer courses that could be defined as either sustainability-focused or related courses. Each of listed courses reflect such implied sustainability-focused content and curriculum.

The sustainability course inventory can be found at the Carnegie Mellon University's Environmental Education website. It should be noted, however, that the website has not been updated since 2009. Therefore, another course inventory had been separately created in a Microsoft Excel document and attached to reflect the recent changes among the University's course offerings in year 2010 (spring and fall semesters).
