A brief description of steps taken to ensure that e-waste is recycled responsibly, workers’ basic safety is protected, and environmental standards are met:

The Newark Campus utilizes "Resource" as our disposal vendor. In accordance with Ohio State University security policy, all computers are disk wiped low level formatting tools prior to disposal. All PC work is done in secured work spaces which are cleaned on a daily basis. Computer Asset management records are updated with warranty information and replacement parts. Work spaces are clean and free of hazards.
