There are 7 total academic divisions at Champlain College (Core, Education & Human Services, Information Technology & Sciences, Communications & Creative Media, Stiller School of Business, Continuing Professional Studies, and Graduate Studies.

Within those 7 divisions there are 55 total programs/majors offered.
17 of those programs/majors require students to take a course that falls within the sustainability course inventory - however, ALL students are required to take Core courses, including Core 120: Concepts of Community, which is classified as a "course offered that includes sustainability". 18 Departments are then used for "Number of academic departments (or the equivalent) that offer at least one sustainability course and/or course that includes sustainability (at any level)" to include the Core classes + Major required courses.
