Yes

A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years:

Starting in the fall of 2013, the Sustainability Faculty Fellows Program at the University of Vermont (UVM) was opened to faculty members from Champlain College. We had one faculty member participate in the 2013-2014 school year and three faculty members participate in the 2014-2015 school year. We do not currently have any participating in the 2015-2016 school year.

In the fall of 2015, three faculty members and Sustainability Director won a Campus Compact Grant http://www.mainecompact.org/ces.php to include environmental service learning in their courses. Utilitizing the funds from this grant, the faculty and Sustainability Director are exploring ways to further include environmental service learning into current and future classes. A session in the May 2016 Faculty Collaborative will help further this conversation.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

The year-long trainings, workshops and resources from the UVM are available to the Champlain faculty. The stipend is not.
