Students presented at the Post Landfill Action Network Conference for their work on DormMania, a student led reuse initiative that collects unwanted dorm items during move-out and sells them to students during move-in in the fall.

W&M received an honorable mention at the AASHE 2015 Conference for a case study of our Tribe Truck Farm. This vehicle showcases a garden in the bed of the truck and runs on biodiesel, it is used as an educational conduit for local schools, daycares, and retirement communities.

In collaboration with the University of Richmond and 11 other institutions, we helped plan the Virginia Power Dialog. This event included a panel of professionals and students, providing the opportunity for questions and interaction on the topic of how Virginia would work towards addressing energy issues in our state with emphasis on climate change and the US climate commitment. The event concluded with a poster session featuring projects from many of the institutions, including W&M.
