Colorado College's Diversity and Equity Advisory Board administered a survey in the Spring of 2016 for student feedback regarding their experiences on campus. The goal was to survey students for qualitative feedback in regards to topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Colorado College also administered a nation wide, multi-institutional campus climate survey of employees sponsored by Modern Think. Several questions directly related to the topics of diversity and inclusion. This survey was utilized to analyze ongoings on campus and to develop action plans and recommendations.

Results from these surveys have shaped policy, programs, and initiatives in many ways. A
beta testing group of faculty was created who are using an end of course question about diversity and inclusion as a part of their class evaluation. Colorado College has also redesigned a session on inclusion during new student orientation based on the results. Results have also helped further the development of affinity group events for faculty and staff and the improvement of the college's diversity timeline.

Assessment results are shared with both faculty and staff at meetings. The college's responses to their findings are shared with students through proactive programming.
