Total occupied building space :
A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
As stated in the credit criteria, CSU has adopted in-depth air quality practices that include regular auditing or monitoring as well as a mechanism for occupants to register complaints. The link provided in the credit to our Environmental Health Services website emphasizes the complaint/reporting aspect of the IAQ practices (found near the top of the page under "Indoor Air Quality: Reporting Problems"). We also continuously monitor using a JCI Metasys building automation system. Well over a million parameters are monitored and/or alarmed on campus, including those related to indoor air quality (like airflow in lab rooms, CO2 concentrations, etc.).
