Does the institution have sustainability-themed housing (residential floor or hall, or theme house) where residents learn about sustainability together and to which residents must apply?:
Yes

A brief description of the themed housing:

Green Borough and Potluck Houses are sustainability themed townhouses. Many of the residents of these houses are upper class students from the EcoReps program. These students work collectively on various sustainability concerns such as energy conservation, recycling, water usage, composting, bike shares and a host of other methods of minimizing ones footprint. The student residents provide open houses, potlucks, brown bag learning lunches, and info sessions to our student population with a focus on how to be sustainable and what practices are available while in residence. Green Borough was also the focus of CTV’s first reality show that documented the lives of the residents. The show followed students as they did projects like ‘Green Your Room,’ where they performed a green makeover for one lucky student, or when they participated in the 350 event bringing environmental awareness to campus on the International Day of Climate Action.
