A brief description of the wildlife habitat program, policy, or practice:

Concordia's Long Lake property contains 134 acres of unique habitat, where woodland, prairie, wetlands, and lakeshore intersect. Concordia College has been working to restore this area. As part of the habitat restoration effort, over 20 acres is protected as pollinator habitat and another 20 as restored tall-grass prairie. 0.7 acres is restored shoreline, including 500 feet of lake front. The property also contains 18 acres of wooded areas and 10 acres of wetland/marsh habitat.
