Has the institution implemented a campus-wide inventory system to facilitate the reuse of laboratory chemicals?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

Concordia College has an inventory system in place, especially in the Chemistry Department, that has been in electronic form since 2004-2005. The inventory system assists in the reuse of laboratory chemicals, and used to help prevent repeat purchases of chemicals.

Concordia College is also currently undergoing a two year process of moving the inventory system to a better, more complete database. The new database will now allow all of the science departments to compile their inventory information together. The goal is to have all chemicals transferred, and fully inventoried into the new database by May 2015.
