This is the baseline selected for our GHG inventory, and we wanted to have as much consistency across credits as possible.

A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives, including how workers are engaged in monitoring and advising on health and safety programs:
Connecticut College strives to prevent accidents and injuries by adhering to established safety practices and OSHA mandated programs. The Environmental Health & Safety Committee, departmental supervisors, and employees themselves, contribute to a culture of safety awareness by reporting accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions. The Director of EH&S ensures the employees receive required training, and promptly addresses employee safety concerns.
