Green Jays is a student environmental coalition. The group focuses on different topics each year, such as bottled water, green meeting certifications, and more.

The Energy Club is focused on topics related to energy conservation and alternative energy.

Roots Down is a student group focused on sustainable gardening and food.

Creighton Students Union (all-student government) and InterResidence Hall Government both have sustainability-focused subcommittees and chairs.

The Sustainability Alliance brings all the student groups together to coordinate efforts.

The Ignatian Garden was founded in 2010 as a place where students, faculty, and staff could grow produce for their own use or for the benefit of others. Gardeners are asked to adhere to the principles of organic gardening for the well-being of the gardeners, community, and environment. There is currently a waiting-list to have a plot in the garden.

The university partners with Wenninghoff Farms to offer a CSA dropoff for any interested faculty, staff, or students.

The Kripke Center for the Study of Religion and Society hosts an annual "Religion and the Environment Lecture" and recently hosted a symposium entitled "Jesuit Education for Sustainability" http://moses.creighton.edu/kripke/Recent16-17.html

The Environmental Sciences (EVS) department hosts a weekly seminar series (no website, unfortunately) highlighting various topics of interest to EVS students.

The Heider College of Business hosts an annual "Business, Faith, and the Common Good" symposium (https://businessfaithcommongood.wordpress.com/). The Business, Faith, and the Common Good Institute exists to promote discussion, collaboration, and research which help understand the relationship between business and faith, and how business can contribute to the common good.

The Office of Sustainability Programs offers monthly forums to discuss topics of interest in various aspects of sustainability.

An annual course offering in the Fine and Performing Arts department is "Theatre for Social Justice." In Spring 2017, students in the class focused on ongoing debates over immigration. Students in the course work on five-minute plays that engage topics of social justice, including issues of sustainability. Students perform these plays on campus and at local high schools in Omaha.

The Schlegel Center for Service and Justice offers spring and fall break service trips every year. Among the offerings are several sustainability-themed service trips, including learning about sustainability in our local community or traveling to Appalachia to discover the impact of coal mining on the population and the environment. The SCSJ also offers an Ignatian Advocacy Group focused on Sustainability (http://blogs.creighton.edu/ccsj/ignatian-advocacy/sustainability/)

Tree Campus USA requires a student on the board.
