A brief description of the technology used:

Indication -- Located on the quadrangle of the Lincoln Park Campus are outdoor street lights that are not only LEDs but also are solar powered.

Description – the street lights use LEDs for producing light from electricity that is generated through the PV panels atop the light poles and is stored in batteries for night time use.
