A brief description of how the institution ensures that its lowest-paid workers (including contractors, if applicable) receive sustainable compensation:

For all full time faculty and staff, the university has guidelines and practices in place to ensure a prevailing salary is paid for all faculty and staff classifications. Additionally, all full-time faculty and staff are provided with a comprehensive benefits plan. The staff salary structure is evaluated each year to ensure market competitiveness.

All non-employee on-campus workers (with exception of 2 small groups not evaluated) - the Barnes and Noble employees and the Ray Meyer Fitness Center employees - are covered under collective bargaining agreements (CBA). Coverage under a CBA satisfies the requirement to ensure that the contractors' lowest paid employees' compensations is sustainable.
