Our sustainability website is the central hub for all things sustainability, including but not limited to student projects, University projects, sustainability news, administrative progress on the American Colleges and Universities Presidents' Climate Commitment, and resources for contact or involvement.

The newsletter is sent by email monthly to all faculty and staff and includes updates on past events, upcoming events, student projects, University sustainability initiatives, green tips and the Green Tiger of the month.

Through our Science Research Fellows Program and students working on summer research, there is a requirement to prepare a poster on that work to be displayed at a poster session open and advertised to everyone at the University. The work from these poster sessions can (and sometimes do) find their way into journal articles prepared with professors and/or presentations at national conferences.
Additionally, DePauw recently added the Environmental Fellows Program into our Honors and Fellows Programs. The Environmental Fellows Program is designed for outstanding students who exhibit intellectual curiosity, high academic achievement and strong motivation to explore environmental issues from a range of disciplinary perspectives. Experiential learning opportunities, such as scientific research, internships or off-campus study, enhance the understanding that students gain through both their disciplinary major and cross-disciplinary environmental coursework. A capstone experience enables students to integrate all aspects of their environmental education.

DePauw has two LEED Gold certified buildings in our Nature Park. In each of these buildings there is information about their construction and materials.
We are also in the process of ordering signs for the Roy O. West library to highlight our energy efficiency savings from a lighting upgrade.

Bon Appetit, our dining service provider, provides information in a variety of manners about sustainable food systems. Their website highlights nutritional balance through mind, body, soul and they have poster materials as well.

The website offers a large amount of helpful information centered on transportation options. Airport shuttles, Rural Transit and the Castle Cab (Greencastle's cab service) are some. Additionally, we have the newly installed Community Bikes program, which offers bike rental to DePauw students and Greencastle community members.

There are frequent stories about the sustainable events and initiatives that are currently taking place on DePauw's campus. One of our Eco-Reps, Sarah White, plans to continue writing sustainability articles in The DePauw this semester.

We are thrilled that our Publications department agreed to produce a fantastic brochure for prospective students and admitted students. In late 2013 we received the brochures and Assistant Sustainability Director Anthony Baratta gave a presentation on the brochure at an Office of Admission staff meeting.
