The President of the Student Senate is invited to all on-campus Board of Trustees meetings and reports to the Faculty monthly. Additionally, there are 13 members of the Student Senate who are elected to vote on All-College Committees such as Planning and Budget Committee (P&B), (Enrollment and Student Life Committee (ESLC), Academic Programming and Standards Committee (ASPC), and Information Technology and Services Committee (ITS). Each of those representatives has speaking rights at Faculty meetings, and at least one All-College Committee Senator per committee is invited to relevant Board of Trustees committee meetings.
Each of the aforementioned student representatives (officially known as Senators) are elected to the Student Senate in either the Fall or Spring semester. P&B, APSC, and ITS are limited to sophomores, juniors, and/or seniors. These are elected by the Student Body as a whole. Additionally, some of those positions are filled by members of the Student Senate Executive Committee. ESLC is limited to one student representative per class year, including the First-Year class. ESLC Senators are elected by their classes individually.

Each of these roles can be simplified to one answer. In each of the All-College Committees, the Student Senate has voice and vote on passing College policies. Students' influence in each of these areas rests in the Student Senators’ ability to provide a student’s perspective. Examples of this influence include, but are not limited to: input on Strategic Plans in P&B, Distribution Requirements in ASPC, Web Governance in ITS, and Orientation in ESLC.

Hourly, non-supervisory staff have voice and vote on the College's Committee on Planning and Budget. Supervisory staff are present on All College Committees.
