A brief description of the program or practice:

The Grounds crew uses drought-tolerant and native species in lanscape plantings as the only irrigation systems on campus are on the sports turf fields. Campus plantings are watered when newly planted or very selectively by hand or from rain-barrels in times of extreme drought for high value plantings.
