A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

EMU featured on a brochure for Taylor Dunn in the early 1980s after purchasing a large fleet of electric work carts for all the trades workers to use rather than work vans and trucks. The university has continued to favor electric carts over trucks whenever possible for low cost and ease of movement on campus.
