A recycling education tutorial is included in one staff assembly and faculty assembly each year. This tutorial features Recyclr, Emerson's social media recycling game.
Additionally, Recyclr is also featured at the Administration & Finance Retreat.

Materials for staff sustainability education are made available for staff during new hire on-boarding and faculty orientation and are always available online at http://www.emerson.edu/sustainability/resources


A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):

All staff are invited to join the Staff Green Team and work on sustainability initiatives and events on and off campus.
Funds are available each year for external sustainability professional development that building Green Teams can apply for. These funds may be used for film screenings, catering, speaking fees, prizes, etc.
