A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives:

Endicott College is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment in
which to live, work and learn. The College takes a proactive stance by
identifying actions and conditions that threaten this commitment. The College
prohibits the use, possession, or sale of chemical substances by those not
authorized to do so, prohibits the possession of firearms or other explosive
devices on campus and restricts smoking to designated areas. Additionally,
the College provides training in the handling of hazardous materials and in
safe workplace procedures to appropriate personnel.
When unsafe or unhealthy conditions are observed, employees are encouraged
to report the circumstances to the Director of Human Resources or to their
supervisor.
