Fanshawe ensures all vendors, contractors, guests, etc adhere to the "Respectful College Community" Policy. This policy stipulates respect, acceptable interpersonal conduct, and no harassment. Our "Contractor Health and Safety Checklist" also applies to vendors and makes sure everyone who works on campus under contract properly disposes of hazardous waste and complies with the AODA Act (accessibility). We also include good housekeeping practices, sorting of non hazardous waste for recycling, emergency spill and containment procedures, control of noise and dust levels, and review of any chemicals used on site – preference for those that are E and Human friendly.
