Yes

A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:

As standard practice, all Fanshawe College Residence Buildings are co-ed, gender neutral housing.

All residence students are required to fill out "The Student Residence Agreement Guarantor Form" as part of their acceptance package. By signing this form, students agree to follow the "Residence Community Standards" which outlines expected behaviors around Diversity and Inclusion: “The Residence buildings are part of a diverse community at Fanshawe College. We embrace and appreciate people regardless of race, gender, sex, age, ethnicity, physical ability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, spiritual practice, or any other dimension of what makes a person individual and unique. We expect an environment of mutual respect and encourage everyone to engage in positive interactions. We will not accept ignorance, anger, alcohol or drug usage, or any other excuse for negative behavior to others. We believe that each and every person has equal worth and should be treated with dignity and respect".
