Does the institution use timers to regulate temperatures based on occupancy hours in at least one building?:
Yes

A brief description of the technology used:

There are multiple buildings tied into FSU’s four main Building Automation Systems. These buildings can be “scheduled” for occupied/unoccupied status. When in an occupied state the temperature setpoints for the building might be 75F/70F (cooling/heating setpoints). When in an unoccupied state, the temperature setpoints are “set-back” to 85F/60F. FSU has four different manufacturers’ systems in multiple buildings: Siemens, Schneider/TAC, JCI/Metasys, and Carrier. There are also programmable thermostats in a number of smaller buildings. Approximately 1.04M GSF of FSU's 1.69M GSF total incorporate one of these technologies.

The percentage of building space (square footage) with timers for temperature control:
61
