The Office of University Sustainability, for Earth Day 2013, installed a solar panel on their electric golf cart to pilot a potential program for retrofitting the campus electric golf cart fleet with solar panels. Also, through the Green Office Certification program departments must commit to purchasing electric/hybrid vehicles if they want to reach the top certification level.
