The Office of University Sustainability participates in all Involvement and Information Fairs for Freshman and Transfer Orientations. We have dedicated staff that talks to the new students about internship opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and sustainability programs on campus and displays program information. Staff also gives a brief presentation 2-3 minutes. Free giveaways for the New Student Orientation include items such as reusable bags, various items made from recycled materials, and promotional items to increase awareness and exposure to campus sustainability. The Office of University Sustainability also has a dedicated page in the New Student Handbook, and provides campus sustainability facts to orientation tour guides.
