Food Recovery Network student chapter

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

FRN unites students to fight food waste and hunger issues by recovering perishable food that would otherwise go to waste on campus and donating to people in need.

Leftover packaged food items are collected daily from 9 locations around campus and donated to local community organizations who serve the hungry and homeless populations of the Tallahassee community.

- Reduces overall waste generated in dining facilities
