Is the institution utilizing its campus as a living laboratory for multidisciplinary student learning and applied research in relation to Air & Climate?:
Yes

A brief description of the student/faculty projects and how they contribute to understanding campus sustainability challenges or advancing sustainability on campus in relation to Air & Climate:

Scott Hersey's SCOPE team and current research team built an air quality monitoring device and have been busy testing it on campus.
Scott's Environmental System Science SCI:1310 class also conducted an emissions survey of Olin's campus in a class Spring of 2017.
A third project, headed by Ben Linder, focused around climate change and CO2. It produced a carbon budget of Olin. The usage of resources of the academic buildings were analyzed to see where we are wasting energy.

Is the institution utilizing its campus as a living laboratory for multidisciplinary student learning and applied research in relation to Buildings?:
Yes

A brief description of the student/faculty projects and how they contribute to understanding campus sustainability challenges or advancing sustainability on campus in relation to Buildings:

There was a project in the Environmental and Sustainable Systems class involving doing an analysis of the sustainability/energy use of academic buildings.

Is the institution utilizing its campus as a living laboratory for multidisciplinary student learning and applied research in relation to Energy?:
Yes

A brief description of the student/faculty projects and how they contribute to understanding campus sustainability challenges or advancing sustainability on campus in relation to Energy:

Ben Linder's Intro to Sustainability looked at energy usage in buildings around campus. Looking at infiltration rates, they were able to estimate energy loss.
Scott's class looked at the energy usage of each building in the campus emission's project.

Is the institution utilizing its campus as a living laboratory for multidisciplinary student learning and applied research in relation to Food & Dining?:
Yes

A brief description of the student/faculty projects and how they contribute to understanding campus sustainability challenges or advancing sustainability on campus in relation to Food & Dining:

Scott Hersey's ESS class evaluated the carbon emissions associated with food consumption at Olin. They presented these findings to the dining hall staff, who have since begun implementing changes.
