A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
We do have bicycle racks on campus. We provide indoor lockable bicycle storage adjacent to one building. We have showers and lockers available in the PE building for cyclist to use.
Does the institution provide short-term bicycle parking (e.g. racks) within 50 ft (15 m) of all occupied, non-residential buildings and make long-term bicycle storage available within 330 ft (100 m) of all residence halls (if applicable)?:
A brief description of the bicycle parking and storage facilities:
There are bicycle racks close to most buildings. Bicycle storage is primarily in the room the student lives in or in lockable storage located adjacent to Frederick Hall.

There are designated bicycle lanes on the main city streets to accommodate bicycles.There is no specific policy concerning bicycles and pedestrians.

The university provides a no cost campus shuttle for the campus community through an agreement with the Allegany County Transit Authority. Besides campus access it also takes students to local shopping venues.

I think because so many students live within walking distance to campus this has not been deemed a priority. Likewise many employees live close to campus also.

FSU does not have a formal tele-work program although many individuals do perform work at home on occasion. Permission to do so is granted by the supervisor with the approval of the Office of Human Resources. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are typically of short duration.

All employees, with the approval of the supervisor, have the option to work a four-day week from the beginning of June until the end of August.

The many of our employees live in close proximity to the University. No incentive is necessary.
